Husband & Wife Ice Fishing Trip

Perfect Day! Theresa decided to come with us for her once a year Ice Fishing trip and it couldn't have worked out better. The sky was blue the wind was almost nonexistent until around 11:00am and the fishing was hot, we caught over 30 fish mostly Cutthroat with a sprinkling of Rainbows.

The fish were suspended at about 6-8 feet of water and they would taste the bait over and over without actually taking the whole thing. Here is a picture of Theresa reading her Kindle between fish Laugh

I started with a white tube jig and then switched to a ratfinky and that is when they started biting, I tipped it with a green power-bait but Doug stuck with the white tube jig and a meal worm and he slayed them 19 fish. The ice was about 2 feet thick and the crust was solid no slush, We arrived at 7:30 and left at noon.

Theresa did awesome catching and releasing 3 good sized Cutthroats
