Theresa and I realize how lucky we are and want to thank everyone that helps us maintain such a happy life a very merry christmas.

We used this photo on our christmas card this year cause it's soooo cute. We had 2 turkeys, homemade stuffing, 8 pies, sweet potatoes, home made rolls, mashed potatoes and a chocolate cake

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Occasionally a child will have a hard time stopping a tantrum. In these cases, it might help to say to your child, "I'll help you settle down now."

Condo Life

Life is settling down now after the move and we are finding ourselves with a lot more time on our hands, Theresa has been going on outdoor walks with us and we have gone to the mall as a family more than once. Swimming has been a big part of living in the condo, every other day is normal now but fall is coming and we’ll have to figure it out.

Kids wanna go for a walk so later

Summary of Summer

Summer is coming to an end; Cicily is leaving Saturday Aug 6th for Texas and a new adventure in middle school. It has been a great summer we had a lot of fun, moving not being one of them but we are really enjoying being back in the condo, I have so much free time I’m not sure what do with myself, cleaning is a breeze and the kids have been swimming 4-5 times a week. We bought our plane tickets to Texas for Thanksgiving this week and my mom couldn’t be more excited I think I will have to fast for a week in preparation of the trip. Kenya is in dance and she is finally dancing (3 months later) it is really cute watching all these little girls hopping around to music and vaguely following instructions from their dance teacher. Business is good, Mark and I are looking into some advertising now that I am settled in the casa so we are planning for rapid growth and expansion. That’s all I have for now so have a great day and enjoy these photos from Silver Lake. http://www.vmmg.net/Silver-Lake-Ski-Lodge/brighton.htm

Silver Lake is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, just before Brighton Ski resort at the end of the road. In summer, it is a great place for an easy and beautiful hike, or a fishing experience. Aren't we cute

69 degrees in August? yep, we all wore long sleeve shirts to keep warm. Hawke was ready for us to carry him half way around the lake.

Time to share the laptop- Kenya has as many favorites as I do and she can navigate her site all by herself. Suggested site http://www.thewiggles.com.au/index2.html

The annual Days of '47 Parade on the 25th of July.
This is one of the largest and oldest parades in the United States, with its colorful floats, bands, horses, clowns and many other entries. Hawke was everywhere, this was the only time he stood still long enough for me to get a photo. The Parade was okay (Hot, crowded, smelly, edgy people) but we stayed for an hour saw some floats and horses and the kids were ready to go.

Thought it was time to get in on the blog, Hawke had to try on daddies cool sunglasses with his hair tied up in a bobble. Great look for da boy

Kenya was quite stressed at the thought of being lt go in the pool with only a life jacket on. Meanwhile Theresa is looking fabulous in a black swimsuit and matching bandana.

Quality Time

Theresa and I actually spent some time together yesterday, She took the kids to the pool and when I arrived she had Kenya wrapped around her neck and Hawke in her arms (wanting to swim on his own) Anyway for about 30 seconds on Tuesday July 19, 2005 while the kids were sitting on the steps of the pool and Cicily was playing with Miranda …… we actually spent some time together brief but appreciated. My mom is still in the hospital fighting cancer and diabetes and when I spoke to her on the phone she sounded good she is a strong woman it will take more than that to keep her down. Cicily leaves for Texas in 2 weeks and it’s going to be hard on all involved but we will have fun while she’s here and she will be back so we just enjoy the now. Business is great and we are having fun we are expecting a big autumn so we are gearing up for lots of paperwork and money. That’s all I got –see ya.
