Oreo

I was hoping to not have to do this for a very long time. We wanted our kitties to stay with us through out the kids childhood, but today our favorite kitty oreo was hit by a car and passed away. We are very sad! We loved him and will miss him very much. Oreo was a stinker, he was adventurous and wanted to explore and see everything. Once he was in the garage and got a fishing hook stuck in his nose. Another time he jumped in the lazy susan and jumped through a hole to the other side of the wall and we had to take everything out to get to him. Found him stuck in a filing cabinet, a kitchen drawer etc. etc.....but he was also the sweetest and snuggliest of all the kitties. He had this thing where he liked to crawl up on your left shoulder and lay there. He loved to be rubbed on his belly and that is why we chose him to begin with, as soon as you touch his belly he would curl up in a little ball and roll all over and around you. He had the loudest purr and would just purr and purr. He would lay with you for hours all curled up all over you and he would sleep next to you all night long. One of his favorite things to do was follow the kids to their friends house down the street. He was like a little dog. He would wait on the porch for the kids to get to the end of the driveway, then dart across the street to the park, like he was a spy and then follow them to their friends house and wait for them on their friends porch. Sometimes he would sneak in their friends back yard and look through there glass door to see what the kids were doing. When I would drop them off he would follow me home then let me pick him up in the driveway and he would climb to my shoulder and purr. He did this almost everyday, which is why he was outside last night. He was a very special kitty to us. We LOVE YOU OREO!- Theresa . The only thing we wish most is for oreo to be alive.-Kenya

Oreo a few weeks old in August of 2009

Kenya found Oreo on her bed and let her put a pillow under him and a blanket on him. He stayed there for 2 hours :0)
